We believe in baking the old-fashioned way, by hand, with care, & without shortcuts.
Located in Pelham Manor, NY, Flour Power is a full service bakery dedicated to creating unforgettable treats for every occasion. Since opening our retail shop in 2021, we’ve grown from a small batch bakery into a trusted name for weddings, celebrations, and wholesale partnerships across Westchester.
Our Journey
Flour Power was born in owner Miranda’s parents kitchen in 2014, and has since blossomed into a bakery that’s as much a community gathering place as it is a destination for sweets. Today, Flour Power is known for our delicious cakes, pastries, and cookies, as well as a curated selection of high-quality treats from other makers, from ice cream and artisan chocolates to savory grab-and-go options. By bringing together our own creations and favorites from trusted local partners, we’ve created a space where neighbors can connect, linger, and enjoy something delicious any time of day.
Our dedication to exceptional products and customer service has led to some remarkable milestones. In 2023, we were honored with both the Best of Westchester award for our dessert tables and the New York State Empire Award, recognitions that reflect not just our baking, but the joy we bring to gatherings. That same year, we had the incredible opportunity to bake Martha Stewart’s birthday cake. In 2024, our work was featured in Vogue Weddings, and in 2025, Miranda was recognized as one of 914 Inc.’s Wunderkinds, one of the top young professionals shaping Westchester’s future.

What We Believe In
Giving back to Pelham and the surrounding area is central to who we are. We support students and local youth through education and mentorship: the bakery hosts interns from Pelham Memorial High School’s Foundations of Learning program, and Miranda volunteers with Mount Vernon High School’s Career and Technical Education Program as an advisory board member. Miranda served as Vice President of Pelham’s Chamber of Commerce for 1.5 years, and has collaborated with Pelham’s Chapter of the Junior League and spoken on multiple panels, working to help support the goals of local women and mothers. These partnerships allow us to share our skills while helping others build confidence and practical experience.
For us at Flour Power, baking is about more than just treats, food has always been a way to bring people together. For us, being a small business means connecting with our community, sharing joy, and making everyday moments a little sweeter.
Through all of this, our focus remains consistent: creating high-quality products, serving our neighbors, and being a positive presence in the community we call home. Simply put, we want to bake the world a better place.
